The storm seems to come in waves. I'm assuming these are storm bands
passing over is, giving a false sense of security by making is think the
storm has passed.
The power is still out. Every few hours since 8 a.m. The power is restored for all of 5 seconds.
I saw some flooding on a nearby street where a small car is now half under water. He must have thought it was only a puddle & he could make it through.
The apt is getting humid & hot since the air hasn't been on for more than 12 hours.
We are going to make our way to my office soon - assuming the storm really is gone - to watch the Florida game. Campus rarely loses power so it will be a nice & cool diversion back to civilization.
